When did you start your brand? How did it start?
in our brains 2008, in stores 4/2009

How did you decide to turn your skills into a 'real' job? Do you work on the side?
We became tired of working for other people and decided to follow our passion for classic, durable products.  We had side jobs for the first 2+ years

What makes you happiest about what you do?
Converting one guy at a time from chemical and water processed jeans to raw denim and the DIY project that take place over the next several months/years.

Whats the hardest part about what you do? 
Convincing the rare, but irritating, guy that a pair of pants made from cotton will eventually develop a hole wherever the fabric rubs together (the physics of friction).

Where do you hope to see your brand in 5 years?
In as many stores in the USA as we currently are in in Japan.

Whats product that you make is your favorite?
At the moment, our Cramerton Army Cloth button-fly chinos.

What do you like to listen to while you work?
Pre-1985 punk, ska and reggae.

Where can we buy your stuff! Do you have a favorite shop? and many shops (how can I name a favorite?!).

What about Desert & Denim are you looking forward to most?
Hall DJ’ing

Do you have any advice for someone who wants to start their own business?
Whatever your passion is for the business, first work for someone else in the same industry for a couple of years.  What you learn will greatly enhance your chance of success with your own business.
